This past Saturday we continued what has become an annual mid-summer tradition playing at our fifth Hop Jam (sixth for Jay and I). Hop Jam is a pool party/cookout held in the back yard of the Hagenbuch family's home in Hopkinton, Mass. In one corner of the yard there is a stage set up where bands play throughout the afternoon into the evening. Very good times. Jay Hagenbuch and Chris Harris of the band Goh have been organizing this event for the past nineteen years. Many thanks to the Hagenbuch family for being great hosts every year. This was our set:
Put a Brave Face On
This Time the Angels
Please Please Me
Chains
Noly-Noly Crimbellum
ATM Song
Jay Hagenbuch also took the photo of the band at Tommy Doyle's which is the back cover of Conference. The one that features my huge left bicep.
For those of you keeping track at home... the Hop Jam show was the 350th show for the band (including TOF, The Hearde). I missed a show last February so I guess technically it is Jay's 350th show. Nice work Jay!

Dave, let me be the first to congratulate you on your 350th show which will take place in Portsmouth tonight. And to hell with the February snow that stranded you in Atlanta.
