I'm looking forward to hooking up with our old friend Rick Berlin at the Lizard Lounge next Saturday (4/24). He has been a huge part of the Boston music scene for #$%^7 years and our paths have crossed a lot over the years. Noah played in Rick's band Shelley Winters Project for two or three years in the early 00s. Rick was partially/largely/completely responsible for our first show ever at the Lizard Lounge back in 2002. In the meantime we have played on the same bill at least seven times according to my sometimes reliable records. We played on an anti-Iraq War/Bush show called Boston Tea Party II (a scary phrase to say these days...) that Rick put together at the Milky Way in 2004. Also Rick had Jay, Jeremy, and I sing on his album "Old Stag" which featured Rick and a great string section throughout and us on vocals for three tunes. On top of that Rick has been a great friend, so this should be fun. Looking forward to it.
