lyrics

A number of people have remarked on the lack of lyrics on the site. Starting today we're entering them on the music pages. Select the album in question and then you'll see a lyrics link under a pretty good chunk of the tracks. Soon it will be all of them. Within the lyrics popup, if you select the title it will take you to a screen at which you can comment on those lyrics if you're so inclined.

Thanks for the lyrics...

...now can you explain them?

Just messing (sort of!). Lovin' the new album. Interesting ordering of songs! Noly-Noly is slowly taking over "21 Guns" as the summer of '09 song. I hear that damn Green Day song way too much while painting at the school.

Is it true Sept 19th will be a Shiner-Machine show? I'm f-ing psyched!

Happy Summer Boys!

I'm not a big fan

of "21 Guns" actually

Not a fan either...

I'm so sick of that song! I hate it too.

However:
"Do you know what's worth fighting for?
When it's not worth dying for?
Does it take your breath away,
And you feel yourself suffocating?"

Is slightly easier to make sense of than:
"Fridgerator magnet overload,
Noly-noly crimbellum
I’m in my June you’re in your Abril,
Noly-noly crimbellum"

Just messing, I like the enigma that is LA MACHINE!

a clue?

Got this from a friend today:
"A cribellum is a kind of comb-like device in certain spiders, used to separate fibers of silk drawn from its spinnerets."

Oh....

Oh, ok, now I get it. Now that song makes sense to me!

Good luck tonight, see you at the Lizard Lounge.

19th

Shiner jones is indeed in for the 19th.
Thanks for the good words on Conference.
Hm, explanation...in Noly-Noly, Abril is Spanish for April...How's that for a start?

it can be

whatever you want it to be I suppose, but I don't recall having a June, to say nothing of "you" and April...a fictitious first-person narrative perhaps. Wouldn't be the first time.
