Itinerary Restfully

I haven't done that x and y and such and such yet.

There's at least two things for each letter in the alphabet.

And the days go by,

And the days go by,

And the days go by,

And the days go by,

I got a whole lotta crap sittin' 'round waitin' for me.

I don't want to be your old news.

Finished my beer now would you be a dear get me one?

Playing it by ear hey here pull up a chair cheers relax.

Itinerary restfully.

new tracks, new lyrics

We just put up two new tracks on the home page (go back there if you missed them...). I've already been asked about their lyrics since they're not available on the Music page the way others are. So here goes:

This Time the Angels Walk the Line

Is there a drainage ditch with your name on it?

I guess that might just well be so.

The problem is sir, if I might explain,

This Time the Angels Walk the Line

a mermaid to remember

A  few of us went to Portsmouth early ahead of the Blue Mermaid show because it's a pleasant place to hang out - walk around the old port feel, watch the Bruins win at Fat Belly's, etc.

Lizard Lounge Saturday night

Sand Machine is returning to Lizard Lounge in Cambridge on Saturday night for a nice mid-holiday season show. We'll be pulling out a mix of the heard, barely heard and possibly never heard (by you) for this one. We're taking the third slot out of four that night so we'll be on a bit earlier than we usually are at Lizard. Here's the bill in order of playing:

Tommy's

Thanks everyone for coming early and staying late. It was a great night. If you missed it, here's what we played.

Tommy's

Harvard Square was hopping Friday night. People were everywhere. And Tommy Doyle's was hopping too. A band called Borough of Kings from NYC opened the night. They leaned toward 80's party music including some covers in that vein.

I decided to play an old Guild Starfire that I've had forever that night, just to keep people honest. I'll post a pic of that soon.

We had a nice crowd of Sand folks and the place was crowded with walk-ins byt the time we were on. Here's what we played:

Mystery Track #4

Call Me Elvis Now

A time to win? Non-Sand Machine once again

As Noah wrote to me today about his feeling about the Celtics, I'm also perhaps foolishly on the side of hope.

The Under Clothes Singer's Demon's rehearsal document

Some friends came in to the Conference recording sessions to help with the singing of Let the Demons Die. (Check out here to see a vid of the making of that.) We provided them with this very professional aid to help with the lyrics:
